For Students, Academic Training Programs

Information for Students, Academic Training Programs & ASEBA Training

Proper use of ASEBA instruments requires training in standardized assessment equivalent to at least the Master’s degree level or two years of residency in pediatrics, psychiatry, or family practice. It also requires thorough knowledge of the procedures and cautions specified in the Manual for each instrument.

If you lack the appropriate level of training but wish to use ASEBA instruments in a student project, you need to be supervised by a professional who has the appropriate training.

Discounts on ASEBA Materials for Student Training Programs at Educational Institutions, for Students’ Classwork and Student Dissertations

As a nonprofit corporation, we must cover the costs of developing materials, data collection and analysis, printing, computer programming, personnel to handle orders, overhead, insurance, accounting, shipping, and other related expenses. However, we wish to help students in using the materials in bona fide training or research done under close supervision of qualified professionals. We provide discounts on ASEBA products for training programs at educational institutions and for students’ classwork and student research for dissertations or capstone projects. Starter kits and web products are not discounted as they are already reduced by a significant amount.

If you wish to apply for a student or student training discount, please complete the application for discounts using the MS Word® or PDF version below and have your professor or faculty advisor sign and date the application. After reviewing your application, we will send you the options for discounted purchase of materials.
